The "A Place In-between" series is three years of practice and research into the influence of memory and imagination in painting as a medium and as a self-reflexive material. 

I was attempting to create images that were comparable to nature's realism while also addressing how the human mind interprets the concept of reality. 

"How can we record and recall the images and convert them to the painting in the time when we are aware of the function of human memory and the process of encoding, storing, and retrieving information (images)?" was the question. 

As a result, I created a series that combines figurative and abstract elements in one image, as an attempt to counter this question without resorting to answers.
